It Happened

Whodda thunk it?

Of the entire field of Presidential candidates, a non-politician was elected and no matter how much some people don't, can't, or won't accept it, it happened nonetheless. Suck it up, buttercups!
Brexit has spread and the people that were once the middle class, and are now struggling, have opted for serious change.

My Father, God rest his soul, no doubt would've voted for Trump. Trump's abstract intelligence and communication skills aside, he speaks his mind and is a very wealthy businessman. Dad was a perennial salesman and entrepreneur; owning/operating a number of different type businesses. I learned from him that a man's word is his bond and a handshake is a contract. The old man would never have voted for Hillary.

While a bit of a sexist, Dad was a cheerleader for only two women politicians; Condi Rice and Margaret Thatcher. He thought nothing of speaking his mind, referring to the rest of the women in politics as "stupid or dumb ass bitches" or the 'C' word. Hillary (and Pelosi for that matter) would've warranted the 'C' word.
Like I said, a sexist and I believe a selective one at that. A Republican to his core.

I myself don't understand how anyone could've voted for Hillary. Just because she's a woman? If Condi Rice had run for POTUS, Dad would have voted for her. I heard him say that after she left the GW administration.

I remember these things because Dad was vocal about his politics, as well as a Bill O'Reilly addict. The last person he voted for was Mitt (by mail) Prior to that, we're all pretty sure he hadn't voted since the Eisenhower administration.

But I digress...I just couldn't help thinking about him extensively during this election cycle.

While I've been voting since the Nixon era,  (yea, do the math) this one seemed like it was more than just ugly.
Politics is by no means a pretty game and, as often happens, horrible things suddenly crawl out from their deepest, darkest holes. Secrets and skeletons rise mysteriously from their crypts.
What did they dig up on Trump?

• A recording from over 2 decades ago about grabbing a woman in the wrong place. He admitted it and apologized. Does that make him a sexist misogynist? I'm firm that's just not enough evidence to support that accusation.
• Collusion with the Russians to alter the outcome of the election? That one can only be attributed to CNN. Even the hacking of the DNC hasn't truly been linked to the Russians.
• Won't release his tax returns. Is it required under law for presidential candidates? Nope. Do we care? Nope. We already know he's rich.
• Is Trump a racist because he wants to close our borders and enforce immigration laws? I'm all for controlling who comes in to our country. Terrorism has already hit here and unwanted deportees keep coming back only to cause some type of carnage. It's time that those who have been here illegally make an attempt to seek the path to citizenship. We need to prevent and deter further acts of terrorism.
• Islamophobic? At this point, if you haven't thought about it, then you're a serious progressive who lives in Michael Moore's fantasy world. We should be afraid. Seriously afraid. CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood are certified terrorist organizations. Islamic terrorism is a real and dangerous threat. While we can't lump all who practice Islam in to one single category, it's a thin and precarious line. How do we sort through that mess? The answer is still not within our grasp, but Trump has made it clear that Immigration laws need to be enforced. A Muslim registry? Far fetched and an unlikely prospect. These are things that have to go through Congress. Trump is not a dictator, but our previous POTUS had his pen and phone and managed to 'dictate' via executive fiat on more than one occasion. Congress was full of pussies. Did all those rich and famous balk at Obama's dictates?  
• Anti-Semite? That's seriously laughable. Hitler-esk? Hitler exterminated over a million Jews and convinced his country that it was in their best interest to follow him or die. His son in law, whom Trump obviously trusts, is Jewish and his daughter has converted to Judaism. For the first time in over 3 decades, a Rabbi gave a benediction at a Presidential Innaguration. Isolationist Revisionism? Why? Because he wants to put America first? How is that a bad thing?

Oh hell, I could write about this all day. I won't.

 

Now Hillary, on the other hand, has a very long list of reasons why she should not be President. Yet, the liberal left progressives who are so utterly tolerant that they tear cities apart, cannot see beyond their cosmetically altered noses. They gave a shit load of money to her campaign and that didn't do a hell of a lot to help her. She never actually outlined her plans for her administration. In fact, she appeared to be the queen of double talk. She would only be a continuation of Obama's legacy. The voters obviously wanted no more of that shit. Popular vote or electoral vote, it didn't matter. This country utilizes the electoral college for a reason and has done so for centuries. It only sucks when Democrats lose.

 

Those with all the money are trying to shame the average American for voting Trump. Who gives a shit what an over paid celebrity thinks? Actually, they're trying to tell you and me what we should do and how we should think. Isn't THAT Hilter's wonderful world of fascism? I firmly believe in the 1st Amendment and in ALL the rest of them, including that beautiful 2nd amendment.

 

So, if people want to protest, go ahead. Who cares? Just stop destroying property and spewing hate filled rants trying to ratchet up the violence to a whole new level.

 

If you want to label someone based on one incident, you're more narrow minded than you claim others to be. Remember who Hillary is, what she's done and who she married. She only stayed married to Billy Bob for political purposes. If he was my spouse, I would NOT have covered up his predatory ways nor would I have stayed married to his sorry, horny ass! Seems Huma didn't follow in her great leader's footsteps.

 

She is seriously corrupt, lied under oath, lied to the public about Benghazi, has been indifferent and turned a deaf ear to the average citizen of this country. Her actions over her private server bordered on treason and left her emails open for hacking. The entire DNC collapsed within itself due to so many undeniably disgusting facts coming forth. The chair of the DNC resigned over the scandal. Who in their right mind wants more of that? No, don't blame Hillary's loss on the Russians. They sunk their own boat and Hillary was the Captain.

 

I certainly can't say that Trump was the perfect candidate over Hillary. He was the ONLY candidate - unless you just wanted to waste your vote on Jill Stein. Yea, the one who had about 2% of the vote and wanted a recount. Obviously a Hillary supporter. Or, she was paid generously to make the accusation.

 

I don't know how long it's going to take for Trump haters to get past the fact that he's going to be here for awhile. Some of the serious celebrity agitators foresee Trump being impeached or just not making it through his 4 year term. Just for that, I hope he does and I hope that if he runs again, he's re-elected.

Screw all you nay sayers. The people have spoken and they didn't choose YOUR sorry candidate.

A Sea of Blue

I hold my head down in sadness and prayer. We are losing brothers and sisters in blue at an alarming rate. Who will stand up for the weak?

The world as we knew it is no more.

There are factions far more deadlier than the average thug on the street. Not to minimize our thugs, because they are becoming exceedingly dangerous too. Home grown terrorists and violent groups are looting, pillaging, destroying and killing, all in the name of some perceived threat against one person.

 In the minds of the violent and dangerous, the assassination of a group of people in the name of "justice" is a right. Putting aside the fact that 2 wrongs don't make a right, there is hatred and disgust for those who protect us every day.
The deafening voices of the many angry followers crying racism accusing our protectors of stereotyping. Yet, a certain group trained and dedicated in protecting the rights of all citizens are painted with the same brush. Isn't there a certain hypocrisy in that theory? Certainly there are bad people everywhere and in every group and they don't discriminate based on ethnicity, religion, sex, etc. We are not a perfect species and it's highly unlikely we ever will be.

Yep, the world is falling apart and there is plenty of blame to go around.

As a former law enforcement officer, I can say without a doubt that I have seen and experienced some of life's beautiful moments and some of life's wretchedness. I have been shot at (and missed), spat upon, assaulted, threatened and called by more vulgar names than you can imagine. Because I took an oath before I pinned on that badge, I endured it. No more.

Our world is changing rapidly. Throughout the decades law enforcement has gone from being the good guys to becoming the bad guys. Why? Who is to blame and how do we change it? Can it even be changed? With the continued threat to our country's security, we should all be thankful that there are people out there willing to risk their own lives in an effort to deter, apprehend and prosecute those that would threaten our way of life. But no, home grown terrorism, fueled by more hate and a twisted sense of justice that starts at the top, continues spreading its tentacles throughout our great country. Now our politicians want to literally handcuff police and take away the tools necessary to protect themselves and others. Are they serious? A softer image, you say? They're already afraid to do their jobs for fear of reprisals. They're being gunned down  in the streets and you want to take away all manner of defending themselves and others? In order to effectively perform their duties, they need all the right tools. They also need us, the citizenry, to watch their back by supporting them 100%.

There are those that would argue that America was never great. To you, I say, "How dare you?" Sure, she made mistakes along the way but she changed, recovered and moved on. Again, we are not a perfect species. However, if you do not like the democratic way of life that America provides you, I say, "Go away and find some place more suited to your needs."
Our way of life is threatened and terrorists, both here and abroad, despise us and all that we stand for.

These same politicians-you know, those folks who thought it would be really cool to stage a sit in in the house chamber-also want to make this all about gun control.

Terrorists are getting them. Oh, wait! Terrorists? In our country? No! The hell you say!
WAKE.THE. FUCK.UP! You left the door open, fools!

Those guys sitting on their asses want your guns. The guns we need to protect ourselves from the continued violence that the present administration seems to be egging on. There's a reason for the steady increase in gun sales. They will not get my guns. I will defend myself and I am thankful to live in a red state where the right to defend one's self and the right to bear arms is part of the state's Constitution.

I sit and ponder what our future holds. Will our warring factions allow for both the DNC and RNC to proceed with their party's particulars and nominations? Rumor has it that more chaos and rioting is planned in an effort to disrupt our political process. Do we need more anarchy, destruction and murder? How is it ok to do these things because you believe one particular candidate is a racist bully? The other candidate is a pathological liar and has blood on her hands. Is she any better? Ladies and Gentlemen, I have an announcement to make....
You know that jackass in the White House? He made us. A country is only as good as its leader and right now, our leader f'n sucks. He has done so much to screw up this country and has lied so much....the list is too long.

What's left for us to do? For one thing, let's settle down and stop the needless destruction and slaughter of innocents. Let us establish a dialogue that is not one sided and where one party doesn't shout down the other. Pointing fingers, blaming one side, and calling each other names solves nothing. Politicians need to step up to the plate and stop pandering and blaming before the facts are all in.

In my lifetime I have been witness to many tragic events. Some so memorable and devastating that I often wish I could wipe those terrible events from my memory. The wanton assassination of law enforcement officers is nothing short of horrific.

Take the time to thank the men and women who serve and protect you.
Were it not for them and their sacrifices, our country would be in a far worse state.

Leader of the Free World

Leadership.  It's a fickle thing. The standard definition is (n) which means to lead or direct or guide a group. For instance, our illustrious leader, The O'blamer. He was elected to lead the most powerful nation in the world and swore to defend the Constitution and to protect our nation from its enemies, both foreign and domestic. One could argue many times over whether he has carried out that oath. The Commander in Chief couldn't lead a squad of ducks.

A number of situations have occurred in our sovereign nation that are clearly terrorist attacks. Our leader has chosen to remain passive and to lie many times over about the situation in the Middle East, as well as immigration, Obamacare, IRS....and the list just goes on and on. He cannot even call out the obvious; those who are doing their best to terrorize our way of life ARE muslim extremists. 

Our leader has aligned himself with our enemies and chosen to piss off our allies. He has decimated our military and we were once the most powerful nation in the world. Nations feared us and looked to us for help and guidance. Now, we're the laughing stock of the world and completely vulnerable to our enemies. Obama remains indifferent and makes back room deals with untrusted leaders of countries who have no ethics when it comes to human rights. 

Obama has clearly divided our country by inciting rioting, looting, racism, and rebellions ad nauseam. I'm sure he's sitting back in the Oval office with his feet on the desk, having a smoke and basking in all his destruction and misery. He cares nothing for this country or our allies. Instead, he is fascinated with basketball, golf, fund raisers and movie stars. 

 Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel is a leader. 

He has led his country through some difficult times. He is a veteran, a diplomat and an man of strong character. As the commander in chief, he has used tremendous restraint in guiding his country through seemingly endless violence perpetrated against his home land.

Prime Minister Francois Hollande of France is also a leader.

His country has become the victim of more than one terrorist attack and he has chosen not to ignore or blindly accept these violent acts. No, he has chosen to do what our wimpy ass President has never done. He called it an act of war and swiftly retaliated.  

These two leaders epitomize grace under pressure, decisiveness, diplomacy and have garnered the loyalty of their people. Our President wipes his hands and walks away without so much as a second glance.

Here we are....at a crossroads. Our leader sends our country's sympathies and less than one day before, lied to the American public by saying ISIS is contained. Really? Since just about the entire European Union and the US has opened its borders and allowed refugees to enter without any kind of vetting process, we are clearly in deep shit. Will we have another 9/11? There's no telling, but odds are the bombings we've experienced are only a prelude of things to come. 

An article in the New York Post headlined, "lead or resign." I may be wrong here, but this appears to be one of those rare occasions where the media has finally seen the light and called out our dear leader for not being one. 

Say what you will, but it is clearly not Bush's fault.

Everything That is Wrong is Right

I'm confused. That's kind of a regular state of mind at my age and not always an unwelcome state. Being confused can keep me from hurting my head by not thinking about all the whys and wherefores of our sad country.

Donald Trump is right. Certainly not a political diplomat, but he's right on so many levels. I sincerely doubt he will be elected our next President, but he sure is stirring the pot of controversy and making us think. He's saying what every politician is afraid to.

But this is not about Donald Trump. This is about my state of confusion. Confused that everything that is wrong with this country has now been accepted as right.

Do you remember when the IRS was a stand alone agency that couldn't be controlled by any one party? Now there's more than a smidgen of corruption and no one has been prosecuted or held accountable. It's accepted.

Do you remember when subpoenas from government committees and senate hearings were generally intimidating, bringing out fear and mostly the truth? Now no one cooperates and the truth is hidden by a corrupt administration. It's acceptable to lie to Congress.

Do you remember when Benghazi was all about a video when in fact it was preventable and lives were lost unnecessarily?  The cover up is immense and starts at the top. Yet, the truth is hidden, the administration refuses to cooperate and liberals everywhere scream witch hunt from the GOP.  But it's okay and accepted. There's nothing more to see here. Move along.

Do you remember when a thug was a a hoodlum, villain, gangster? Now they're heroes preaching violence, drug dealing and rape. If you don't believe otherwise, you're a racist.

Do you remember when looting, arson, vandalism were crimes? Now it's acceptable all in the name of criminals being killed by police. Police are now the enemy and it's literally heroic to assassinate a cop all because there's a perceived impression of racism and oppression against blacks. Just ask Obama. If he had a son, they would grow up to be just like them. Law enforcement should present a kinder, softer look and military equipment isn't necessary. Never mind the fact that people want to kill them and you don't want them to defend themselves. Dumb ass DiBlasio says let's eliminate stop & frisk. Watch the crime rate soar because cops are now afraid to do their jobs. Listen to people bitch about that. You can't have it both ways.

Do you remember when we could all make our own decisions about whether we needed to pay for health insurance? Obamacare was shoved down our throats with predictions from the opposition of skyrocketing costs, death panels, small businesses suffering negative financial effects and the promise repeated over and over again; "If you like your health insurance plan, you can keep it." That never materialized and yet, Obama's broken promise has long been forgotten by liberals. It's acceptable for him to use prosecutorial discretion, changing laws with impunity. He's not a President. He's a dictator and no one sees it? After all, to disagree with this President in any way is racist.

Do you remember when the 1st Amendment to the Consttitution, freedom of speech, freedom of the press and freedom of religion was a widely accepted form of guaranteed right? That as citizens of this great country we were entitled to those inalienable rights? Not anymore.

Our government wants to censor what we say and how we report the news. They want us to come over to their way of thinking. People could and did voice their opinions about other religions, especially when people were willing to kill for it. Now, if we open our mouth about the wrongs of someone else's religion, we're at fault for the casualties because we "insulted" them. Yet, that is only a one way street. Now, there are people who want to repeal this Amendment and strip us of those rights. I'm confused. Isn't that wrong?

Do you remember the now controversial 2nd Amendment? The right to bear arms has been a part of our lives and history since before the Revolutionary war. We liberated ourselves from those nasty Redcoats, fighting against the oppression of an evil monarchy. In wars with other countries, civilians took up arms. Now that bad guys can get their hands on a gun some how or some way, the best thing to do is just outlaw guns. That'll fix everything, won't it? Go ahead, you wussies. Bring that knife to a gun fight.

Do you remember Fast & Furious? Our illustrious President sold guns to cartels? The anti gun leader of the free world thought they could arrest and dismantle the cartels by giving them arms. That backfired in the nastiest of ways. A Border Patrol agent died at the hands of the cartel while using Obama's gift.

Do you remember when we had the most powerful military in the world and we were feared by nations everywhere? Now this ungrateful administration thinks it's best to cut costs by eviscerating our military and their benefits. Never mind that we are now vulnerable to evil doers everywhere. Yes, GW was on to something there. All the more reason not to repeal our 2nd Amendment.

Do you remember when an illegal alien was just that? Illegal.

They just broke the law so we should waste no time in the deportation process. Like all the rest of the many millions who immigrated to this country, do it legally. Mexico undoubtedly wants to get rid of their drug lords, gun runners, and other dregs. There's no fence, no repercussions for crossing the border. Just claim amnesty and you're in. Never mind the fact that the crime rate will increase drastically in those sanctuary cities and they're a burden on our already overcrowded prisons and government hand outs. Don't forget, we are promising you that you can vote in our elections even if you're illegal. Seriously?

Do you remember all the scandals surrounding Hillary Clinton? Hell, there's so many I can't keep track. Never mind that she has lied under oath or has refused to testify. Never mind that her financial dealings are questionable (but they were broke when they left the White House) that the Benghazi fiasco is over and no longer makes a difference. Her emails were deleted and her servers were penetrable.

She announces her candidacy for President, yet won't speak to the press. If we don't vote or support her, we're sexist. It really doesn't matter if she's knee deep in all this muck. What's wrong is now right.

There's so many scandals surrounding our illustrious leaders. It's alright now because it would be racist to disagree and it's not Obama's fault.

 It's racist to fly that Confederate flag almost anywhere. It's racist to have a name like the Washington Redskins. Our controlling government tells the patent office to deny them the rights to that name because, well, they can.

Do we dare mention Gitmo and the release of known terrorists without the consent of Congress? It's an impeachable offense but do we dare start impeachment hearings? No-no. Can't do that. It's racist and too much of a political hot potato.

Beau Bergdahl was a war hero who served with honor and distinction? His fellow soldiers and the Army would disagree. Obama no doubt paid somebody and there's serious religious implications. That Marine held in Mexico....Obama stays silent.

Ft. Hood--act of terrorism or workplace violence?

Al Sharpton - racist charlatan or civil rights leader? Oh, please. Someone put this tax evader in jail once and for all. Oh, wait. He went to the White House. He's special and it would be racist to put him in jail. Is anything not racist?

So, Donald Trump has ditched political correctness in the name of what's right. He doesn't care if people perceive him as a racist or want to cut ties with his business ventures. He's not bowing to political correctness and the media is trying desperately to make him out to be a general nut case. The GOP is up in arms and accuse him of painting their party in an unfavorable light. The GOP has long ago painted themselves into a corner, and it sure ain't pretty.

The media....what happened there? They won't report the truth because it would be racist. Stick with only half truths and stories that fit their agenda. There is no true investigative reporting anymore. It's slanted and twisted, favoring their own liberal party--right or wrong.

Does anyone remember this country before Obama? When things were more right than wrong?

Miscellaneous Assholery

Is it me, or does the bullshit in our world just keep getting more moronic by the day? I'm beginning to think that there is just no intelligent life left on our planet. The world is so f'd up that if I were describe it to someone who has been living under a rock, I wouldn't know where to start. In fact, right about now, living under a rock sounds like paradise. Every day that I read the net, watch TV, and even chat with people on Facecrack or Twitter, it's a depressing assortment of events that makes your head spin. No wonder we Americans are over-weight and chemically dependent. We seek comfort in junk food, video games, and sedatives such as pills and alcohol.

Since I am of the Baby Boomer generation, I find that in my interaction with others of my age, we see the world as falling apart. The URBAN DICTIONARY  has labeled the baby boomers as the,"most self righteous and incredibly arrogant generation of all time." I kid you not. How the hell did that happen? When did that happen?
Even more incredibly startling is their definition of the 90's generation, known also as GENERATION Y  or the Echo Generation. Yes, these are the offspring of Baby Boomers. So, the little snot nose brats that wrote this Urban Dictionary bullshit are the perfect generation? The children of the 21st century are clueless. They have not experienced the real world. Remember the famous saying from our generation, "Reality Bites?"
It still does.

The constant bombarding of 24 hour news stations, social media outlets and that Baby Boomer invention called the television, has turned this generation in to electronic junkies who can't take their eyes off their devices long enough to see the world and interact with people face-to-face. The speed of their fingers on a keyboard as it clacks away at a frenzied pace has made this generation lazy and dependent. Hell, schools have stopped teaching cursive writing because this generation knows only the keyboard.

If we were self righteous and incredibly arrogant, then this generation is the "you owe me generation." That's right, we Baby Boomers are most likely your grandparents and we don't owe you shit!

The high profile people; politicians, movie stars, over paid athletes, ad nausem, influence the actions and thoughts of people every day. You don't know it, but it does.

If you're paying attention, and have not yet chosen to climb under a rock, these are just some of the things bombarding us every day:

• The George Zimmerman-Trayvon Martin trial is underway and their star witness, who was allegedly that last person to talk to Martin before his death, is an uneducated, lying piece of shit. This whole trial is a joke. Zimmerman acted in self defense but the trial is happening because it would be 'racist' not to prosecute Zimmerman. If Zimmerman is convicted, it could have devastating effects to the Stand your Ground Rule. If he's found innocent, blacks everywhere threaten to riot in the streets. Ah, let's think about this... Violence, people? Seriously? Many threatened to do that during the 2012 election if Obama didn't win a second term. 
• Aaron Hernandez- an athlete so full of himself he thought he could get away with murder. He destroyed evidence and has hints of gang ties. Only a 4th round draft pick for a reason. He conveniently and maliciously destroyed his cell phone. He tried unsuccessfully to destroy the contents of his own home security system. Minutes after leaving the crime scene, he's shown on video brandishing a handgun. Idiot of the highest form. Too many steroids, no doubt.
• Paula Deen- Diva of southern cuisine is being ripped apart by the press and all her endorsements are having a domino effect on her livelihood. Why? Because she used the N word - ah, fuck it- she used the word 'Nigger' some 20 + years ago..and she said it out loud! Oh. My. God - stop everything people! A woman from the deep south used that word in a different era and in a different time. She was honest and she confessed. If there's any white person out there over the age of 30 who says they have never used that word, they're full of shit. Why is this a double standard? Michael Vick killed dogs for money and got his football contract back. Chris Brown was a domestic abuser and has his career back. Many high profile blacks are being forgiven for their indiscretions and yet, a middle aged white woman is being slaughtered over one indiscretion. Isn't that 'racism'?'
• Mayor Bloomberg- Wants to ban large bottles of soda because we're too fat. He's the world's dietitian and he knows what's best for us. We can't think for ourselves. I think all that money gets in the way of his rational thinking. His campaign for Mayors Against Illegal Guns initially gathered a following. The anti gun crowd saw this as a good idea - in theory. Now, some of the mayors are dropping out. Presumably because he himself is too radical and I suspect, he's related to Dianne Feinstein. His flock is slowly deteriorating and other Mayors say that what he stands for is not something they want to be associated with. The premise was of course, illegal guns. That's not where Bloomberg is taking this. He's offending people. The hypocrite travels with armed bodyguards because of death threats, yet he thinks taking guns away from everybody will solve the problem. I could go on, but he's just an asshole and not worth my time.
• The IRS- ah yes, the bane of every US citizen. Did they or didn't they? Did the White House have knowledge of their selective investigations? I'm betting they did but others are throwing themselves on their swords in an effort to deflect any negative impact on the President's administration. So many idiotic mistakes are being revealed. No one ever really trusted those incompetent bastards, so let's just reinforce that perception with this scandal. And they're entrusted with ensuring everyone gets health care or make you pay the penalty come tax refund time? When SCOTUS ruled this as constitutional, I about fell off my chair. How could it be? I don't have a choice in the matter? The implementation of Obamacare is right around the corner and big problems are arising.
• The NSA & Verizon- Oh gees, where do I start? Are we being spied upon by our own government and without probable cause or warrants? Oh hell, yeah! And it's been happening for a very long time. We just didn't know it or turned a blind eye. The far left leaning liberal news media, who consistently fawned over our worthless leader, is now awake and paying attention. How dare the government violate their 1st Amendment rights? Well, DUH! Apparently they didn't see any of the other Constitutional rights violations. • Edward Snowden- That poor bastard. He's a threat to national security because he became a whistle blower. Granted, he exposed government secrets involving the NSA and the CIA and no doubt violated an oath. But the problem lies now with finding the rights and wrongs of this guy's actions. This incident is labeled as the most significant leak in US history and our government wants to charge him with espionage. Snowden is running to countries that are 'safe havens' for people such as himself. Unfortunately, they know where he is all the time. I admire his tenacity and ideal, but I'm torn on what and how he did it. Then... when you're exposing government secrets, expect a backlash.
• POTUS- (don't you love all these new acronyms?) Yea, that guy. Oh my, he's on vacation again and wasting the taxpayers money more and more each day. There's a laundry list of things wrong with this presidency and even some of his fellow dems (jackasses) are turning their backs on him. He is indeed the worst president this country has ever had. He has far surpassed Carter. Obama is a racist. He has on many occasions opened his mouth and without knowing all the facts, accused people of showing racist tendencies. And he has a law degree? HA! He practically promotes divisiveness among our country when he should be trying to fix the problems of his own race. Does he ever wonder why the average black male is either getting killed or in jail? That they aspire to become drug dealers, rappers and thugs? That staying in school and getting an education, a real job, and becoming a productive member of society might actually be a goal to aspire to? Not likely. He promotes the welfare state. Yes, that's right....we've come full circle and we're at the "you owe me generation" once again.

I could go on and on, but you're probably clamoring for a refreshing alcoholic beverage and looking for a comfortable rock somewhere.

Irish Parliament member Clare Daly goes on a take-no-breaths rant that addresses almost everything that the knowledgeable, eyes wide open, American people are concerned with in regards to the Obama administration.

She's right; Stupid ass liberals and the news media, have been pandering to the Obama aristocracy and it's quite evident that the Obama's fuckin' love it! They are pulling the purse strings of the American public and the feel-good-about-myself liberal folks think everything is just all wonderful with flowers and unicorns. In their consistent comparison of the Bush administration, they use creative brush strokes to skew the actual picture. Obama is not the Messiah. He is not the answer to our country's problems. In fact, he IS this country's problems and other countries are pointing their fingers, laughing at us. And what a frikkin joke we are! Remember, the American people elected him - TWICE!

PM Clare Daly minces no words when it comes to Obama and points out what some of us clear headed individuals already knew. Obama is a hypocrite and should be charged with war crimes.
While Obama's gun control back ground measures have failed, and as he continues to tug on the heart strings of America by trudging out the victims of the Newtown disaster, he is now supplying arms to the Syrian rebels. What has Syria done for us that we need to provide them with weapons? What have they done to other countries and other people? I'll give you a clue...it ain't good. These people hate us with such a passion that we would be lucky if they didn't turn on us with our own weapons. Does that story sound familiar?

IS OBAMA A WAR CRIMINAL?

Obama has done what all politicians do at some point in their political career and that is to LIE. He has misled the American people and he has lied to our allies, thumbing his nose at well established protocols and anchored relationships. It's a known fact that Obama is a political hack nobody, who was part of the corrupt Chicago machine, who came out of nowhere and became president. So now Obama uses his influence and, of course surrounds himself with more corrupt cronies. But ever so slowly, the truth is starting to reveal itself.
Naturally, now that he's a lame duck candidate, it's almost too late. We're stuck with him for 3 more years. And let's face it, Biden is no prince either. I'm not a prognosticator but I don't see another Nixon-Agnew situation occurring in the 21st century.

With the continuously growing list of scandals now hanging over his head, one can only hope that impeachment may be knocking at the door.

I Want my Country Back

I like to read a lot. I like fiction and I like facts. If I want fiction, I'll read a good mystery novel.
If I want facts, I'll read about our pathetic excuse for our government and its leaders. Sometimes in the world of politics, the line between fact and fiction is blurred. When I read things pertaining to our present government, from the Prez all the way down, I often times wish it were all fiction because the truth surrounding these clowns and their behavior, or lack of ethics is way too bizarre to be real. Can you imagine a reality show with some of these political hacks who are steadily driving our country in to ruin?

Our President's leadership skills and capabilities of running this government are slowly, but surely coming to light. Even former President Clinton, who never had sex with any woman other than Hilary, speaks of Obama with disdain. That says something. In fact, it says way too much.

Save for the fact that we see a great deal of these things floating around the net with some seriously bad grammar, this statement and the person who said it is true. Yes, Clinton did the pot-kettle thing.

Will the liberal news media now start reporting facts instead of the fluffed up filtered version that they did during Obama's first term in office? It's starting to look like it might happen. There's a litany of things that this corrupt Chicago crony either covered up or fucked up.
From bail outs, unemployment, Benghazi, IRS, illegal wire tapping, Verizon, etc...it's so difficult to believe that people actually re-elected this moron. (Once again supporting my belief that the 2012 election was rigged in Obama's favor.)

Scream racist at me all you want. Point a finger at me and call me a narrow minded conservative. I don't really care, for I am neither. I am an American who wants  my country back.
I want to be able to say the Pledge of Allegiance and fly the American flag in public schools without fear of offending anyone.
I want us to stop tip-toeing around Immigration reform for fear that other countries will think less of us. I don't give a rat's ass how the world sees us. We have continuously bailed out and fought wars for people all over the world.
I want my country to be feared and respected again.
I want people to stop living off the government teat and get a freakin job. I want there to be jobs.
Stop outsourcing, and stop giving jobs to illegals.
Stop shoving Obamacare down our throats. It's not working and it's not gonna.

Now that the media has gotten a taste of their 1st Amendment rights being disregarded by way of circumventing the 4th amendment, and the constant bickering about our 2nd Amendment, this country is slowly being eaten away from the inside. Our own racist (if you don't think so, you're not paying attention) President has shown his disdain for the Constitution and this country repeatedly. He is, in my opinion, anti-American.
He has sworn to defend and protect the Constitution and yet, he is blatantly violating it, practically flaunting his indiscretions in the face of the people.

I believe in our Constitution. The 1st Amendment gives me the right to say what I'm saying in this forum. I have the right to worship my God in any way I please.
The 4th amendment prohibits the government (or it's entities) from committing unlawful search and seizures. I have the right to be secure in  my persons, houses, papers, and effects. I have a reasonable expectation of privacy. It's obviously been violated for some time now 'cause hell, I'm a Verizon customer.

And then, there's my all time favorite, the 2nd Amendment. It gives me the right to bear arms, most especially against tyranny. The anti gun crowd calls us 2nd Amendment devotees radicals. Nothing could be further from the truth. The world is falling apart. The government is scaring the shit out of people and some believe we may even need to take arms against the government. Is this all a fact or is it fiction? Is it an unreasonable assumption or just plain paranoia?
People are buying guns and ammunition like never before. Many are buying ammo in bulk and taking advantage of the shortage and exhibiting some entrepreneurial skills of their own. Ah, Capitalism. Beats Socialism any day.

Another 4 Years

Today is a federal holiday and ordinarily, I would be enjoying my day off and maybe even catching up on a little TV. Today is also Inauguration Day and I refuse to turn on the TV, knowing full well I'd be inundated with all the pomp associated with another 4 years of this moron named Obama.

I make no bones about the fact that I didn't vote for him. I don't know too many people who did, but then again I live in a red state. Many idiots voted for Obama strictly based on the color of his skin. I don't have any black friends that did. Then again, my black friends work for a living, have an education and are not dependent upon the government to get them through their every day lives. Like the rest of us, we do what we can to make ends meet and try to stay away from government assistance. It was once the great American way...to work for what you wanted. Now, many expect that their wants and needs will be taken care of by someone else because everyone owes it to them. That's sad. It's not who we ever were.

There are also many of us who are simply fed up with our government representatives. Who do they actually stand for besides themselves? I'm having my doubts about our election process. Obama winning a second term was rigged....I'm convinced of it. It doesn't matter. Unless he's impeached or resigns, we're stuck with him for another 4 years.

Obama doesn't care about your rights. He's consistently stepping on toes and wiping his feet on the Constitution. His views do not mimic what we as citizens of these great United States would like. His views do not stand for the republic nor do his outlandish laws serve any useful purpose but to cause so much divisiveness. Some believe that our ruler has a method to all this madness and it isn't in our best interest.

Obama doesn't want law enforcement to enforce immigration laws. To me, this is asking for trouble. How much crime do law enforcement officers deal with that are committed by illegal aliens? Depending on certain demographics, I'd say more than half. Now, knowing full well that his logic tends to lean too far to the left, he is punishing every citizen based on the actions of a number of mentally ill people who killed innocent people with firearms. He came up with some ideas. Ideas that have already been batted around a number of times. Maybe more police in schools will help deter crimes. By all means, if the government will subsidize or fund it, make it happen. It's unfortunate, but necessary. Will banning certain firearms, ammo and magazine capacities make a difference? Highly unlikely.
Perhaps the President would like to keep an eye on all the courts that make back room deals with Judges, prosecutors, and attorneys who allow repeat violent offenders plea deals. Most of these violent offenders have no moral compass and are released only to commit violent crimes again and again.

The one glaring common denominator in all these mass shootings is mental illness. How does the President propose to keep firearms away from the mentally ill without stigmatizing people or causing Doctors to put their careers on the line should they make the wrong diagnosis? What about that reasonable expectation of privacy? Labeling people as "unstable" without violating HIPPA laws is a slippery slope.

Obama's arrogance is immeasurable. Today, he once again swore to uphold and defend the Constitution. The Constitution clearly states that citizens have the right to keep and bear arms and that right shall not be infringed. This is angering many people and is causing chaos and panic in the gun industry far beyond what they saw in 2008 when Obama was first elected.

How does Obama expect law enforcement will receive these unlawful orders? Does he think that law enforcement in the U.S. will blindly follow the leader and take away the guns from their citizens? Many Sheriffs are taking a stance and are doing so by not only utilizing certain media outlets, but they're also doing it the old fashioned way...in a signed letter to the VP. Check out this site. My 3 favorite Sheriffs have made their voices clear. They will not enforce unconstitutional laws.

Is the NRA Up to the Job?

Yesterday was Obama's big day. He presented 23 proposals that, by executive order, are going to become the law of the land. Gun sales were already up after this tragic incident in Connecticut. Sales spiked again yesterday and today, with people now purchasing hordes of ammunition. High capacity magazines and AR type rifles are long gone, with some sellers asking double, and sometimes triple their original cost.

The action the Obaminator has taken has been shoved down the throats of citizens by way of the guilt factor. Yes, it's all in the best interest of the children. It's best to disarm everyone and that is supposed to make it all better - that it will help prevent more tragic shootings by mentally ill persons. IT WILL NOT. I'd like to say that people are outraged enough that something will be done to prevent this blatant attack on our Constitutional rights.

Interestingly enough, this chain of events has not only caused record gun and ammo sales, it has had a direct result on NRA membership. The NRA now boasts that membership has increased by 250,000 in just one month.

 I certainly hope that they are up to the task at hand. We must not surrender to the whims of the liberal idiots who find guns so offensive. The President's actions are reprehensible and he should not be allowed to force his socialist beliefs upon our free thinking society.  I'm tired of kissing ass in an effort to be more politically correct.

Pro gun politicians have already made it clear their intent to bar Obama's little foray down this road. While I say that I agree to some of their proposals, others are a joke and an insult to the intelligence of responsible gun owners. Some are just good in theory, but difficult to piece together and make work.

Meanwhile, law enforcement officers are now taking a stance. Linn County, OR, Sheriff Tom Mueller
wrote a letter to the Vice President essentially telling old Joe that he wasn't going to enforce something that was a direct violation of Constitutional rights, rights that he is sworn to uphold.
One of my favorite Sheriffs, J. Al Cannon, Esq., of Charleston County, SC also made a press statement  concerning his take on the matter.

I foresee a long hard fight ahead.

Are our Gun Rights in Jeopardy?

There's been a frenzied atmosphere in most gun shops as of late. The intensity of emotions resonating from gun owners and buyers ranges from fear of anarchy and chaos, to downright defiance of the government's potential ban on firearms. People are worried and scared. Many have predicted that riots will ensue when guns are taken and some whisper plans of making a stand. It's a situation of great concern for everyone.

Gun stores are running out of everything and just can't keep up with the supply and demand. Some are claiming price gouging during this sudden spate of gun and ammo purchasing. The statistics in the last 3 weeks alone would surprise and frighten those anti gun folks. Those in favor of gun rights, it doesn't surprise them at all. Obama is the greatest gun salesman the US has ever seen.

Some sick sons of bitches have wreaked havoc and death upon innocent children and adults. Terrorists do that. So do the mentally ill. It is indeed a sad set of circumstances and something does need to be done to prevent it from continuing. But what? How do we screen the mentally ill and keep them from legal firearms? How will banning assault rifles fix this problem?

To take away a person's Constitutional right to keep and bear arms seems an extreme course of action. Then again, His Royal Highness, the Obama idiot, wants to effectively strip away your rights and he will do it by Executive Order and to hell with everyone.

One industrious member of the left wing liberal news media in one of those radical blue states up north, takes it upon themselves to access all the gun owners database in one particular county, and then publishes the names of all those who have registered firearms. Now, what exactly was this jack ass trying to prove?
You really have to question the motivation behind this act of selfish stupidity. In actuality, those whose names were published were just law abiding citizens. They did what their little government asked them do and "registered" their firearms. Does the criminal element follow the letter of the law and tell the government about their guns? Oh, hell no.
Frankly, it only proved that the writer of that article, his editor, and the entire newspaper staff are a bunch of like minded half assed morons who just can't see the big picture.
So what is the bigger picture?

Who are we really controlling when we enact so-called "gun laws?" With so much violence in the world, that's just one more reason for me to keep my guns and ammo.

It seemed like more than half the nation had had enough of this hope and change bullshit and that this El Presidente jackass would be history. No such luck. I swear the election was rigged. That's my theory.
Interestingly enough, there's this sudden look at the 22nd Amendment, also known as the 2 term presidential limit. Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

Guns Save Lives

If you've never come across this website http://gunssavelives.net/ before, you should take a peek at some of the stories of self defense. It's always a worthy read.
This website is full of people who are tired of being a victim and they're fighting back. It's a proven fact that most gun owners are law abiding citizens who are least likely to commit a crime.

It's amazing how every state except Illinois has some kind of concealed carry law or laws governing gun ownership. With that fact, is it just coincidence that Illinois residents are killing each other in droves? Chicago used to be a city I've always wanted to visit and maybe even catch a Cubby game at Wrigley. Not now. Not ever. Only the thugs and scum on the street have guns and the average citizen has no recourse, no way to defend themselves. Hell, the way the laws are written there, if they even fight back in their own home, they're quite literally breaking the law. Why should you, the victim, have to retreat in your own home? Why should anyone be charged with a crime for defending themselves or their property? Doesn't seem right, does it?

The recent reelection of the Obaminator left me numb for days. How did this happen? Were the voting tallies correct? Were the minority sheeple so taken with Barry's persona that all that hope and change crap blinded them to the reality of our situation? Perhaps it will be one of those mysteries of the ages...just like his birth certificate. Ah, but that's a whole other story.....

Now the proverbial "wish list" of assault weapons those morons in DC want to ban, is out and the gun stores are having a field day.
Sales are up and Black Friday guns sales was at a record breaking high. Yes, I was in the middle of that chaos and our gun shop alone probably sold over 60 guns that day. It was so busy that the National Instant Background Check System (NICS) was practically gridlocked. The Blaze reported the story in all-too-accurate detail.

There's no doubt about it.....people in the red states are scared. Some may even be overly paranoid, believing that SUV's with tinted windows will surround their house in the middle of the night, using Gestapo like tactics to seize everyone's guns. I'd like to think we are a rational people and that it won't come to that.

And now, those geniuses out there in the land of liberal do-gooders think it's a bright idea to have a gun buyback program.

Wonder what that will accomplish?

I have no idea how true this is and whether it's a factual transcript of a "Meet the Press" interview.

The General stated to Obama that according to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171...
"During rendition of the National Anthem, when the flag is displayed, all present (except those in uniform) are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Or, at the very least, "stand and face it."

Senator Obama replied: "As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides. There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression. The anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all that sort of thing."

Obama continued: "The National Anthem should be 'swapped' for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing.'

When the Zombies Attack....

Working in a gun shop has many advantages. Not only do you get some serious employee discounts, but you get to play with all kinds of guns. I continue to learn new things every day and that includes interacting with a wide spectrum of the human race. Not that there's any shortage of that in my business, but when people don't know who you really are and you're not wearing some intimidating uniform, they tend to open up a bit. There are people who come in there in awe of a real gun shop and indoor range, most especially when they hail from those northern blue states and other parts of the world.

Gun purchases in my state have more than doubled since this time last year and better than half the gun purchasers are women. People are signing up in droves for the CWP classes and applications for concealed weapon permits have far surpassed last year's numbers. The state government body who processes CWP applications sent an email memo to all instructors to please assist in expediting the permitting process by double checking all paperwork for potential errors. It was time consuming to send them back for corrections and they were over-burdened as it was.

Why are so many people buying guns, you ask?
It's simple....they are in fear.  People fear different things. Some seem to have a fear of impending doom based on the present political climate, and maybe they're justified in that one. Some fear that the present Zimmerman-Martin case will effect the 'stand your ground' law and that there will be anarchy and chaos in the streets.  Women are becoming empowered, refusing to be victims. The incidents of violent crimes are soaring, especially in the larger urban areas.

Then.....

there are those that fear the Zombie Apocalypse. When the Zombies attack, will you be ready?

Like the price of gasoline, the price of ammo continues to rise. Before that Obamination starts stripping the law abiding citizens of their 2nd Amendment rights, it's time to stock up.
Who knows, maybe the Obaminator is conspiring with the Zombies to make us all brainless drones that follow his socialist dictatorship without question.

The Economy and Firearms

When the 2008 election forced the Obaminator upon us unsuspecting, freedom loving Americans, he unwittingly became the greatest firearms salesmen in American history.  In the 3 months following the election, most notably the day after, the sales of handguns and other firearms jumped over 45%.

Prices for ammunition and other accessories catapulted through the roof. For the majority of '09 and well in to '10, supply just couldn't keep up with the demand. Law enforcement agencies, with already slimmed down budgets, were forced to cut back on firearms qualifications because ammunition was not only difficult to get, but the prices far exceeded their budget restraints.  Prices for ammo have finally leveled off, but it's still costly and nowhere near the price they were 3 years ago.

So here we are, in a full blown recession and people are still buying guns.  In fact, if you ask your local gun dealer, (the legal ones) they'll tell you that business has been thriving. The stock market has crashed again, the unemployment rate doesn't seem like it will ever go down, illegal aliens are committing dangerous felonies and sucking the life out of our government benefits, and civil disorder is an all too chilling reality.

The mob violence in Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Chicago, and even in the UK, are proof positive that our society's ills have turned out a generation of deplorable, ungrateful thugs who have no regard for the lives and property of others. Depending on which media outlet you get your information from, these incidents were not racially motivated nor were they hate crimes.  Nooooo.....it's our society's downtrodden who deserve so much but have had such a difficult time....blah, blah, blah....bullshit! If they wanted to change their pathetic lives, they could.  No one is holding them down.  It was ALL racially motivated in the U.S.  Blacks specifically targeted whites, violently and without remorse. I can't speak to the UK's incident, but I can say that they have the same kind of diseased minds in the UK ghettos that we have here in the US.

With all this anarchy and chaos running rampant in these large, urban cities, people are steadily purchasing guns.  People will make room in their family budgets, even if they have to put it on layaway and use time payments. The majority of gun buyers will tell you it's for self defense and some admit openly that they are preparing for the inevitable apocalypse. I used to think that those doomsday-sayers who believed in such ideals were just a little off their rockers.  Now, not so much. They may have a point.

Once the law abiding public starts shooting back, only then will the armed thugs think twice.  Well, they should, but worst case scenario is another piece of shit is off the streets and the taxpayer's burden has been lowered by one.  While gun sales increase, crime rates in those states decrease. It's an undisputed fact supported by FBI documentation.  It is estimated that 15 million guns will be purchased by the end of 2011.

Well, I didn't vote for the moron who promised all this hope and change shit. There is almost no hope now and the changes have been disastrous.

BREAKING NEWS: President says really stupid shit!

Has everyone heard about this?  Could our President be any more arrogant and disrespectful of our men and women in uniform?  He's clueless.  The worst part is he's running for re-election.  Come on people, wake up!

Some recent bad press, which included a major mockery of the plan by comedian Jon Stewart, led Pres. Obama to abandon his proposal to require veterans carry private health insurance.  He proposed this in an effort to cover an estimated $540 million dollars per year this costs the federal government of treatment for injuries to military personnel received during their tours on active duty.

The Pres. admits he was puzzled by the magnitude of people opposed to his proposal.

When he backed off from this proposal that would make disabled veterans pay for their own injuries, this is his response,

"Look, it's an all volunteer force. Nobody made these guys go to war.  They had to have known and accepted the risks.  Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice?  It doesn't compute.  I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their country.  I wasn't asking for blood, just money.  With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its history, I'd have thought that the patriotic thing to do would to try to help reduce the nations's deficit.  I guess I underestimated the selfishness of my fellow Americans."

What does he know about patriotism and sacrifice?  The American people are not selfish, Mr. President, you are!

We support our military personnel, both home and abroad.  They deserve what little benefits they have left.

The Birther Conspiracy

There was many a "Birther Conspiracy" theory that President Obama was not a natural born citizen, as is required under the Constitution and that he is thereby not qualified to serve as president.

At issue was his birth certificate. The State of Hawaii says they were inundated with requests for a copy of his birth certificate. Considering it privileged information, all requests for copies were summarily denied.
The State of Hawaii Health Director said that they would often get 10-20 requests per week, often from the same half dozen people.

People sued. In fact, quite a few.
Berg, Donofrio and Kershner, were prime examples of litigants who were intent on uncovering what they thought was a conspiracy to defraud the American people.

In an attempt to appease these many inquiries, a scanned image was finally released to the public.

The US Supreme court ruled that the birth certificate is in fact genuine, and that there is no obligation to continually release it to the general public other than in the above version. The Republican Gov., Linda Lingle, then signed a bill that allows state officials to ignore duplicative requests for birth records. Because of that, requests dissipated.

Ok, maybe privacy is a concern as I'm not real comfortable with some moron obtaining my birth certificate and stealing my identity. Oh alright, that may be an extreme reason, but privacy is paramount, especially to the US President.

Now, for the grand finale -

5 Democrats introduced legislation that would allow anyone to obtain a copy of the President's birth certificate for a minimal fee of $100.00.  For this fee, it would entitle the person making the request to a certified copy from the state office and NOT the scanned copy that was released by the President himself.
This legislation will still have to make it's way around the privacy laws that are already on the books.

The Democrats aren't taking themselves too seriously on this however, as Rep. John Mizuno stated that he "had no problem looking into innovative ways to bring revenue to the state."

I hope he's not thinking that a $100. fee is any kind of deterrent. Because some people will pay outrageous sums of money for some of the stupidest things.  And yea, this ranks right up there.


Whether you believe in this theory or not, there's not a damn thing we can do about it.  The majority voted him in and we're stuck with him for another 2 years.
