IF you are linking out to Shaved's Blog know that most of the articles before this year are damaged or missing.
Shaved and Second City Cop (the later is really a Chicago police man behind his blog) broke a killer news story about some piece of shit 15 year gang banger who won the contest to make the new City of Chicago office sticker for vehicles. The kid got some money and prizes for it.
Too bad the images were filled with fucking GANG SYMBOLS! The city staff and the media were fucking embarrassed to no end since none of them seemed to notice the obvious.
The main stream press (two joke newspapers we have) found out that more and more people would leave their sites to go to smaller blogs that gave the REAL stories.
Somehow Shaved was hacked and mostly all of his older content was mysteriously deleted. No connection to the internet news guys getting to the facts when the big players were dumb to them or part of the silent wall; nothing like that to be sure.
Woodward and Bernstein get feted and Shaved get deleted. My how times do change.
So much of his past content is hit or miss to read online now.
